Juneau for the summer

After settling into the new apartment and job, it feels amazing to be back in Juneau. I was last here 10 years ago and coming back feels like returning home. There’s something kind of magical about this place.

One the benefits of having a car for the summer is being able to take fun drives whenever possible.

The days in Alaska are so long that even after working until 9pm there’s still time to catch a sunset.

If you drive far enough in Juneau you’ll eventually end up at the end of the road in a few places on the island. I don’t think I have ever seen an End Road sign anywhere else.
