Crossing Canada

And so it begins, the long drive from Las Vegas to Alaska…if all goes well, we’ll arrive to Juneau in 5 days.

We’re hoping our dogs can get used to riding in the car because it’s going to be the longest road trip we’ve ever done with them, by 5 days .

We were looking forward to the beautiful drive through Jasper and Bannf but when we checked the weather we found out that the road there was completely snowed in. We had to reroute and take a less scenic way through the plains of Alberta, which were fairly uneventful and seemed to last forever.

As soon as we started seeing signs about animal crossings in Northern British Columbia, we started seeing the wildlife.

Now that we’ve made it through Alberta and British Columbia, we just have Yukon Territory to go…
